The new ETF tracks the FTSE/JSE Capped All Share Index. This index caps SA listed companies that make up the FTSE/JSE All Share index at 10%. This gives investors a more balanced and less concentrated exposure to these companies which include large multinationals such as the BHP Group, Richemont and the Naspers/Prosus stable.
The Satrix Capped All Share ETF is the first ETF on the JSE to include all large-, mid-, and small-cap SA listed companies.To celebrate this market first Satrix, will launch this ETF at a 0% TER for the first six months.
The Initial Public Offering (IPO) is open from now until Thursday, 28 October 2021 at 9am.
Investors who participate in the IPO will pay no brokerage fees on the initial investment and will participate in the performance of the ETF from the first day it trades on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The anticipated date of listing on the JSE is Wednesday, 10 November 2021.
